Essay#2 ~My treasures~

Today, I’m going to talk about my treasure. I have four main treasures.

My first treasure is a bike. Four months ago, my best friend’s father suddenly gave me his bike though, I don’t know why. After that, I ride my bike everyday to go to school, to go to work and so on. I went to Miyazaki by bike by highway. Now, my bike is necessity. It may not be a treasure if I just bought it. However, the person who gave me the bike is my best friend’s father. So, it’s my treasure.

The second treasure is photos. I like looking at photos, because I can feel some change in seeing the photos. Changing is important. I think good memories and the past can be a treasure. And photos can keep it. So, I think photos can also be a treasure. I want to take a good scene. That’s why I always take my digital camera to every place I go. And I get good new treasures.

My third treasure is my studying abroad experience. This is not realized yet. But I think this experience will be the best treasure for me. I’m really looking forward to this day. I want to grow up through such a grateful experience. Experiencing is a treasure.

My final treasure are my friends. My friends are always helping and supporting me when I feel down. There are many good friends and awesome people around me. They are my treasure. The reason why I am here right now is due to all of them. So, I never want to lose them. I’m proud of meeting my best friends.

Hello! My name is Yuji Maki and I am a 20 years old student of KGU from Oita, which is located on Kyusyu. My major is English. And I have a dream of becoming an English teacher in junior high school. So, I like English very much but I am not good at speaking it though. I like listening music and watching movies too. Do you like music? If so, what kind of music do you like? I want to talk about music. And I also like driving very much. I can take you to famous places if you want to visit. So, if you want to go somewhere, please tell me. Japan has a lot of places to sightseeing. And do you like sports? Did you watch WBC? I was so excited because I like baseball.

How many people are in your family? And do you have any pets? My family member is 5. That is my father, my mother, my older brother, my younger brother and me. My father is cook, so he cooks very well. Do you like Japanese foods? When you come to my home, you can eat delicious foods. My younger brother is high school student. And he is the captain of his volleyball team. My family is very kind person. Please take it easy.

My favorite fall activity

My favorite activity in fall is exercising and playing sports. In my elementary school days, an athletic meeting took place in October every year. I like an athletic meeting a lot because I could run anywhere and I could be an outstanding person. Even now, when fall coming, I'm bursting to run and exercise.
And my junior high and high school days, sports day was held in October like an athletic meeting. We were very excited. In addition, fall is the best season to play sports, I think. That's why, I like exercising and playing sports in fall.

About a favorite place

My favorite place is rooftop of my house. Actually, my house is condominium. Sometimes, I feel sad, or not happy, I go to rooftop of my condominium. We can view very beautiful sight from there. Especially, in the evening, the sight we can view from there is the best!! The evening sun, mountains, buildings, sky, there are a lot of beautiful things. In the midnight is also great, because we can discuss our problem there with my friends with drinking alcohol and eating some snacks. But we don't make noise. I love that silent time. That's why my favorite place is rooftop of my condominium.

Habits

When I was in Oita, before coming Kumamoto, I used to eat break fast. Because, I had a time at morning. But now, I hardly eat break fast. I live in Kumamoto alone, so I don't have much time to eat break fast, and I don't have much money too. That's why I'm always hungry.

And, after eating each diet, I want something sweet to eat. So, recently, after I ate lunch, I often go to Maruzen to buy ice cream or chocolate.
